How are games called off?
Games or practices are called off for things such as rainy weather, this is determined usually by the coaches or sometimes the township will shut down the fields. It will be communicated to you by your coach and usually is posted on social media as well. We absolutely do not play in lighting. Games/practices are usually made up sometime later on in the season (depending on field/team availabilities).
Sometimes games are also called off for other types of weather such as heat or smoke (air quality). However, we usually try to play unless there is a health advisory, so please come prepared, bring lots of water, hats, and know that as much as we don’t like it we cannot control the weather.
